We chose this contractor over several others to renovate the kitchen and bath of our row house on the basis of two considerations: seeing the work he had performed for others, and the thoughtfulness he exhibited in addressing all of the many questions we had about his approach to our specific needs. Although the project is in progress, expect to be completed in about a month, we have been pleased all along the way with the workmanship and obvious appreciation for maintaining a look consistent with an older home. The dialogue has been excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others, and will likely use them again, should we need work done in the future..

Rob Wright’s concern for high quality craftsmanship and honesty is evident in his choice of staff and subcontractors. We valued his creative, tasteful design suggestions, such as hand-built wooden-framed storm windows to go over the original windows of our 1895 Fan District house. Everyone at Cabinetry & Construction is wonderful to work with! The crew at our house was particularly great with our kids (and very patient with our 2 year old!) and kept the work zone very safe. Even when we weren’t living in the house things would be completely cleaned up everyday. And when we had problems with a shower door 2 years later, they were happy to replace it. We are very satisfied customers!

This is my first major remodel and despite the horror stories I heard about contractors, Rob and his crew were a pleasure to work with. I could have had the work done for less, but this is a good example of getting what you pay for. Rob spent the time upfront to get a good idea of what I wanted, and that paid dividends later in his being able to make excellent design decisions without requiring my constant input. In summary, this was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend Cabinetry & Construction to anyone else. This company goes the extra mile to cultivate on-going customer relationships. The design and the crew were very respectful and kept the area clean, they did a good job on the details and the addition looks like it was always a part of the house.

Designs were beautiful, all CCI employees were courteous, professional and talented and we appreciated the input from Rob in recommending designs and materials. Additionally, when we did have problems, they were taken care of promptly.

The idea for the final location of the addition was brilliant (Hurray, Rob!), and has worked out far better than the former ideas would have…it gives my parents more privacy, is on part of the backyard that wasn’t used much anyway, and it created an intimate little courtyard area that we look forward to using.

Rob was really great at understanding that there was a fixed budget for this project, and he did a great job at giving us the best value to fit the budget and to fit right in with our old home’s existing look and architectural style. This was extremely important to us, and Rob completely understood that! Thanks Rob!

While working on any old house, there are always hidden challenges. I am a detail-oriented person and it is the small things that make a design project successful. There were specific goals I had, I was able to express my ideas, and Cabinetry & Construction was able to translate my design ideas into reality. My kitchen is EXACTLY what I wanted and, just as important, delivered on time.

The relationship established between Rob, my husband and me was extremely valuable. We always knew (and still know) that we could get in touch with him about anything and he would respond almost immediately. We quickly developed a trust in Rob because of his ability to communicate with us as well as his obvious talent in his field. … And of course the quality of the workmanship is phenomenal. Rob and his workers are just about the best we could have imagined. Cabinetry & Construction is trustworthy and pet friendly. Rob and his team really did a great job, and I have now used them for two subsequent projects. His price was also very reasonable for the amount of work they did. I was expecting my small dog to have to leave the house for the time they were working on the project, but CCI was happy to have her there and even allowed her to be out of her crate. They just worked around her and she was so much happier being at home. I am very pleased with the work that I have had done! I look forward to using them in the future!
